Matt Hanlon and Serena Michels decided in 2009 that they wanted to start farming some of the land they lived on. Our labor of love has become our backyard which is home to 2200 vinifera grapes. Riesling, Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir.

Matt grew up in Webster, NY, while working for his family business Crown Electric Supply he graduated from NY State Ranger School at Wanakeena, NY with a degree in Forest Technology.

Serena grew up on her father's tobacco and tomato farm; Sunshine Farm in LaGrange, Kentucky and went on to served 6 years in the US Navy after high school.
